Zhytomyr has two reservoirs with a total area of more than 600 hectares.

To meet the energy requirements of the water services company and to reduce water evaporation from the reservoir, the city is considering building a floating solar power plant with a capacity of 40.0 MW.

The current “green tariff” for solar energy in Ukraine is EUR 121.2/MWh (including VAT)

The city is ready to buy electricity for its own needs at a rate of 130.0 EUR/MWh (including VAT)
