The construction of the modern centre for the delivery of social services “Transparent Office” is still ongoing in Zhytomyr. The address of the centre is 8 Poliova Sq. (for the population of Koroliov district).
The construction is carried out based on the modern project. Reconstruction works are on schedule.
The Head of the Capital Construction Department of the City Council Viacheslav Hlazunov told about the progress of construction work and emphasized that the reconstruction of the building is on schedule.
“As of today, a large amount of the planned work has already been completed. At the moment, the interior finishing and tile pavement in the street are in progress. Also, fire alarm system is being installed and the doors are being mounted”, said Viacheslav Hlazunov.
According to the Mayor Counselor Oleksandr Cherniakhovych, any infrastructure object must meet the modern requirements of accessibility to all segments of the population, including the unimpeded accessibility of such facilities to people with disabilities.
“To show how the centre for the delivery of social services Transparent Office will ensure the right of unhindered access for people with disabilities to a social facility, to analyze the work that has already been completed, to identify the best practices and to avoid mistakes in the implementation of further projects, we invited designers and representatives of NGOs involved in disability issues to the the Transparent Office”, saidthe Mayor Counselor.
“Transparent Office”, the centre for the delivery of social services, is a new modern form of providing support to those who need it the most.
It is planned that the centre for the delivery of social services “Transparent Office” shall provide more than 200 types of social and administrative services, from business registration to issuing pensioner ID cards and payment for utility services.
Centres for the delivery of social services “Transparent Office” are equipped with e-queuing management systems and information terminals. They help get acquainted with the list of services, the procedure, conditions and terms of their provision, as well as see samples of filling in documents. All services are grouped according to topics: benefits, financial aid, disability assistance, etc. Thus, during one visit it is possible to submit documents and apply for different types of assistance, benefits, subsidies, etc. in a relatively short time. All facilities are equipped in accordance with the accessibility requirements of low-mobility groups and are convenient for visitors and staff alike.
