Zhytomyr community has passed the second audit of the European Energy Label (EEL)
On December 6, 2024, the Commission for the Certification of EEU Participating Communities, consisting of representatives of the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine, the Ministry of Communities and Territorial Development of Ukraine and the EEU National Office, considered the results of the independent audit and unanimously decided to issue a certificate to the community with a score of 59.1%.
Despite numerous challenges caused by the circumstances of martial law, Zhytomyr City Council continues to implement and plan measures to reduce energy consumption, increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and demonstrates a successful example of improving the quality of governance to other communities.
