IFC will develop a feasibility study for the future single hospital in Zhytomyr.
This will be the first and important step towards creating a single hospital in Zhytomyr.
The mayor says there are already good examples of such hospitals abroad:
“The photo shows an example of single hospitals in the United States and Japan. They are large and modern. All services are in one building. A person does not need to travel to different parts of the city to be examined or undergo procedures. Now there are three city hospitals in Zhytomyr. There is Hospital No. 1, Hospital No. 2, and a children’s hospital. Their areas are approximately 26, 19, and 18 thousand square meters. Some services are provided in one hospital, some in the other. These are different premises and different locations. The quality of medical services is a priority for us. We take into account the comfort of patients. We are starting to work on creating a similar hospital in Zhytomyr. This is a process for years. Such projects are not realized in a year or two. But we need to start now. We need to work for the future.”
A feasibility study is a document that, based on research, answers the question: what exactly should the only hospital in Zhytomyr be like.
“And after that, the hospital will be designed. And then – financing and construction. So, we are starting to work. And sincere gratitude to our partners for their support!” – Sergiy Sukhomlyn
