On August 5, the fourth EXPORT SCHOOL Module for small and medium-sized enterprises was held 

The era of marketplaces. How to build an effective e-commerce through marketplaces

The module covered the following topics:

  • how to sell to any country in the world through marketplaces;
  • features of working with Amazon and Ebay, the FBA program and auctions, advantages and disadvantages of working with the world’s largest marketplaces;
  • Europages+WLW as the most effective B2B tool that will open up new markets;
  • how to sell locally in the markets of the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, France, Germany, and Sweden;
  • how to register a seller’s account, features of working with marketplaces, how to properly design content to get sales, commissions, and ways to promote on Heureka, Tradera, Allegro, eMag, Conforama, Zalando;
  • Etsy and other platforms for handmade manufacturers;
  • Shopify as an ideal SaaS solution in the e-commerce market.

Aliona Voznenko is a Director of ADAM UA LLC with over ten years of experience in marketing and sales. She promotes ADAM.UA, the first agricultural marketplace in Ukraine. She is the Head of the Marketing and PR Committee of the European Business Association (regional office in Dnipro) and a trainer in e-commerce at the business school of Nova Poshta LLC. She is a consultant on e-commerce for UNDP programs in Ukraine.

The EXPORT SCHOOL project is part of a grant competition for systemic support for small and medium-sized enterprises implemented by the Business Development Fund  within the broader EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internalization program co-funded by the European Union and the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The program aims to support Ukraine’s economic sustainability, recovery, and growth, create better conditions for the development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), and support innovation and exports.
